Accessibility

Spray Foam Masters is committed to providing our services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities, consistent with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

This website

This site has been built to target Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. In practice that includes:

• Semantic HTML structure with a single, logical heading order on every page
• A skip link to bypass navigation and go straight to the main content
• Full keyboard operability, with a clearly visible focus indicator
• Text and interface colours checked for AA contrast against their backgrounds
• Form fields with properly associated, visible labels
• Text that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to a 320px viewport
• Respect for the operating system's reduced-motion preference
• Navigation landmarks and current-page indication for assistive technology

Images on this site

Every image carries alternative text describing what it shows. Most of them are original technical diagrams drawn for this site — a heat-loss cross-section, an attic air-sealing sequence, a thermal-barrier assembly and so on — and each one is described in words as well as drawn.

No image carries information that is not also available as text, so nothing is lost if images do not load or are not visible to you. The comparison chart on the closed cell or open cell article is also published as a plain data table for the same reason.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is not a one-time task. As content is added — particularly photographs of completed work — it needs to carry meaningful alternative text, and we intend to keep it that way. If something on this site is not working for you, we want to know about it rather than assume it is fine.

Elsewhere on this site

If you would rather speak to somebody than use a form, every page carries the phone number and the contact page lists the ways to reach us. There is background on the business on the about page, and our privacy policy explains what happens to anything you send us.

The main content is the insulation services we install, the towns across Simcoe County we work in — Barrie and the seven around it — and the insights articles, which are written as plain text with real headings so they read well in a screen reader or with styles turned off.
